I work with couples in Jersey City to create personalized first dances that feel natural, confident, and completely their own. Whether you're starting with no dance experience or already feel comfortable on the dance floor, we'll build your dance around your music, your experience, and the way you naturally move together.

Every couple starts somewhere different. I'll guide you through each stage so you always know what we're working toward.

Most of the couples I work with aren't experienced dancers. You don't need to be.

I teach everything step by step, making sure you understand not only what to do, but why you're doing it. We'll build your confidence gradually so that by the time your wedding day arrives, the movements feel comfortable rather than overwhelming.

The Wedding Dance Academy offers private wedding dance lessons for couples throughout Manhattan, primarily on 14th St. and in Midtown.

Lessons are designed around your schedule and can be tailored to your wedding timeline, experience level, and vision for your first dance. Private lessons are available in Manhattan, with Jersey City and virtual options also available by request.

Do we need any dance experience?

Not at all. Most of the couples I work with are beginners. I'll break everything down into manageable steps and teach you at a pace that feels comfortable.

How many lessons do we need for our first dance?

It depends on your wedding timeline, experience level, song, and how much choreography you'd like to include. Most couples I work with choose a 15–30 lesson package.

When should we start our wedding dance lessons?

Ideally, several months before your wedding. Starting earlier gives us more time to build confidence and refine your choreography without feeling rushed.

That's completely okay. You don't need to be a dancer to learn a great first dance. My job is to make the process approachable and help you feel confident along the way.

What if we're terrible dancers?

Can you choreograph our first dance to any song?

Yes. We'll work with your chosen song and create movement that fits the music and feels natural for both of you.

Do you offer lessons in Jersey City too?
